Jerry
Farrow is our Managing Partner and leads our Technology
Practice. Before founding McCormack & Farrow in
1983, Jerry was a human resources executive in the computer
industry. His clients include a wide range of Fortune
500 and Middle Market companies, high technology start-ups
and privately owned companies. Jerry earned a Bachelor
of Science Degree from the United States Naval Academy
and a Master of Science in Systems Management from the
University of Southern California. Before his industry
career, Jerry was a Marine Corps Officer.

Ken
Thompson leads our General Industry Practice.
Ken has over twenty-five years of executive search experience.
Before joining McCormack & Farrow as a Partner in
1990, he was President, Vice President and Director with
three prominent west coast search firms. His clients include
companies in the high technology, aerospace, medical products,
financial services, healthcare and service industries.
Following a tour of duty in Germany with the United States
Army, Ken earned his Bachelors in Management/Marketing
from California State University, Fullerton. He is active
in several Orange County trade associations.

Helen
Friedman leads our Financial and Information
Technology Practices. Helen joined McCormack &
Farrow as a Partner in 1990. Previously, she was with
Coopers & Lybrand for 12 years as Director, Executive
Search. Earlier, she worked in the Canadian search practices
of Coopers & Lybrand and Touche Ross. Helen has conducted
searches for manufacturing, technology, education, healthcare,
not-for-profit, and financial services clients. She earned
a Masters in Education and a Bachelor of Music Education
from the University of Toronto. Helen is a member of the
National Association of Female Executives and the Organization
of Women Executives of California.

Gene
Phelps leads our Corporate Governance Practice. Gene has been in retained executive
search since 1980. His extensive experience in board level and senior
management recruiting for U.S. and international
clients covers a diverse group of industries. He started
his search career with Paul R. Ray Inc., then became a
Director at SpencerStuart and later joined Russell Reynolds,
before founding his own firm. Earlier, he held line management
positions with Procter & Gamble, Hunt-Wesson, Ampex
and Laura Scudders. Gene received a BA in Business Administration
from Upper Iowa University. He has served on the boards
of the Hugh O'Brian Youth Foundation, the Orange County
Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and the Forum for
Corporate Directors.

Ken
Bertok leads our Financial Services and Human Resources Practices.
Ken joined McCormack & Farrow as a Partner in 2001.
He has over twenty-five years of management recruiting and
human resources experience. A significant amount of his
experience is recruiting senior management executives
in all functional areas. Before joining McCormack &
Farrow, Ken was Senior Vice President of Client Services
for a west coast recruiting management firm. Before that,
he worked in Corporate Recruitment at First Interstate
Bank and in Human Resources at Ohio Citizens Bank. Ken
earned an MBA and a BBA from the University of Toledo. Ken serves on the Board
of Directors of the Orange County Chapter of the National Human Resources
Association (NHRA).

Lisa Feldon leads our
Healthcare and Biosciences Practices, and is a member of our Human Resources Practice Team. Lisa
joined McCormack & Farrow as a Partner in 2007. She has over twenty years of recruiting experience. Prior
to joining McCormack & Farrow, she was a Division Director with a Southern California-based recruiting
firm where she built a successful division specializing in the
placement of human resources professionals for clients
in a wide variety of industries. Lisa is actively involved in professional organizations and has held a number of
board positions, and served as President of the Orange County affiliate of the National Human Resources
Association. She is
currently President Elect of the Southern California
affiliate of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association
(HBA), an organization dedicated to developing leadership
skills of women in healthcare. Lisa earned her BA degree from Queens College of the City University of New York.

Betty DiMuro
is our Director of Administration. Betty joined McCormack & Farrow
in 1987. She is responsible for our accounting functions, travel,
candidate scheduling, all other non-research administrative tasks, as well as special
projects. Prior to joining McCormack & Farrow, Betty was Executive Assistant for the Vice President of Human Resources and
the President of a Fortune 500 company. She is a member of the National Association of
Female Executives and previously served on the Board of the Orange County Business Travel Association

Maria
Villegas Rodriguez is our Director of Research.
Maria joined McCormack
& Farrow as an Intern in 1999 while enrolled at the
University of California, Irvine. She became a Research
Associate upon receiving her degree in Sociology. As an
undergraduate, Maria attended and presented at educational
research conferences addressing minority enrollment in
four-year programs. She also conducted 360-degree evaluations
of MBA students for the University's Graduate School of
Management.

Alex Sanchez
joined McCormack & Farrow as an Intern in 2006. He serves as Research Analyst
in support of assigned search projects. Alex is currently pursuing undergraduate studies
at Pepperdine University. Prior to joining the firm, Alex served as
a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps.

Ashley Castaneda
joined McCormack & Farrow as an Intern in 2006. She serves as Research Analyst in
support of assigned search projects. Ashley received her BA degree in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton. Prior to joining the firm, Ashley held positions
in the retail industry.
